# Attributes

## Introduction

Product attributes in OpenCart 4 allow you to add detailed specifications and technical information to your products. Attributes help customers make informed purchasing decisions by providing comprehensive product details, specifications, and features.

## Attribute System Overview

### Attribute Groups

Organize attributes into logical groups for better management:

**Common Attribute Groups:**
